Editorial Integrity
Forma Civitatis upholds the highest standards of academic rigor, transparency, and integrity. All submissions undergo a rigorous, double-blind peer review to ensure originality, methodological soundness, and scholarly significance. The editorial board adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Authorship and Contribution
Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to conception, design, analysis, or interpretation of the research.
All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and accept responsibility for its content.
Any changes to authorship post-submission require written consent from all authors and justification to the editorial board.
Peer Review Policy
Manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by qualified experts in the field.
Reviewers provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to uphold academic quality.
Editorial decisions are independent of external pressures and based solely on scholarly merit.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose all potential conflicts, financial or personal, that could affect objectivity.
Disclosed conflicts are managed transparently to safeguard the integrity of the research.
Research Ethics and Academic Misconduct
All research must comply with applicable ethical standards, including institutional and national regulations.
Plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, and redundant publication are strictly prohibited.
Proper acknowledgment of sources and adherence to citation ethics are mandatory.
Corrections, Retractions, and Ethical Breaches
Errors identified post-publication are corrected via formal corrigenda.
Retractions are issued in cases of serious ethical violations, misconduct, or invalid findings.
Author-requested withdrawals are considered prior to publication, subject to editorial approval.
Data Transparency and Open Science
Authors are encouraged to provide underlying datasets where feasible, adhering to Open Science and FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
Restrictions on data availability must be explicitly stated in the manuscript.
